Japan Needs Help

On March 11, 2011, the world stood still as the people of Japan were pummeled by a natural disaster caused by an 8.9 magnitude earthquake followed by a massive Tsunami. The two storms, together, killed over 15,000 people and triggered a nuclear meltdown at the Fukushima nuclear plant.

Immediately after the devastation, The Dalkhan Foundation came to their assistance by donating warm clothing to a local Japanese organization, on behalf of the victims of the Tsunami.

Economic Crisis In Africa

Poverty is one of the principal reasons for hunger in Africa. Simply put, people do not have sufficient income to purchase enough food or clothing for their family.

In 2012, statistics showed that 47 percent of the population of sub-Saharan Africa lived on a budget of $1.90 per day or less, a principal factor in causing widespread hunger.

At the latter part of 2012, The Dalkhan Foundation donated four thousand pounds of clothing and medical supplies to Africa via a non-profit organization within Christ United Pentecostal Ministries located in Houston, TX.

Special ED Students Need Assistance

On July 20th., 2017, a cry for help came from the Marchand Combined school, located in Castries, St Lucia. Reason? The Special Ed students are required to have their blood work done in order to return to school. The cost per student is $140.00 which is quite a challenge for some of the parents, due to financial constraints.

The Dalkhan Foundation responded almost immediately after this awareness making a pledge to sponsor ten students.

On August 4th, 2017, representative Ms. Caron Tobiere presented the funds for that cause to Principal Shirley-Ann Lubin, on behalf of the foundation.

Further Assistance To The Less Fortunate

The Dalkhan Foundation went a step further by offering to donate back packs along with lunch kits, pencil cases and pencil sets to the less fortunate students at the Marchand Combined School.
